Meet the Team

Meet Dr. Jerit Davis. Born and raised in Searcy, Arkansas, Dr. Davis attended Harding University for his undergraduate education and the University of Missouri at Kansas City for his dental education. He holds a bachelor of science in Chemistry and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Davis has called the DFW area home for 17 years and has provided dentistry to the residents of North Dallas for nearly two decades.

Dr. Davis's approach to dentistry is one of health, wellness, and function. He believes in treating patients the way he would treat his own family whether that means a simple cleaning, complex, full-mouth restoration, or a brilliant newly designed smile. When you visit Dr. Davis as a patient, you can rest knowing you are in experienced, capable, and honest hands.

Dr. Davis currently resides in Frisco, Texas, with his wife, Haylee and daughter, Allison.

Meet Dr. Amy Sojouner-Critz. Born and raised in Abilene, Texas, Dr. Sojourner-Critz is a multi-generational Texan.

She attended Abilene Christian for her undergraduate education and Texas A & M College of Dentistry (formerly, Baylor College of Dentistry) for her dental education. She holds a bachelor of science in BioChemistry and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Sojourner-Critz called the Dallas, Texas area home for 8 years, meeting and working extensively with Dr. Jerit Davis during that time. Currently, Dr. Sojourner-Critz resides and practices dentistry in her hometown of Abilene, Texas. After six years not practicing together, Drs. Davis and Sojourner-Critz decided their teamwork provided unmatched benefits for patients. Dr. Sojourner-Critz will be joining Dr. Davis in Plano to see patients several days per month while maintaining her life and dental practice in Abilene.

Dr. Sojouner-Critz currently resides in Abilene with her husband, Logan, and their two children, Virginia and Jack.

Dr. Daniela Canales, DDS—fondly known as Dr. Dani—was born in Mexico, raised in Laredo, TX, and is proud to call the Dallas-Fort Worth area home. She moved to Dallas to attend Baylor College of Dentistry (Texas A&M), where she met her husband Max, who is also a dentist. Since then, they have made DFW their permanent home.

As a third-generation dentist, Dr. Dani brings a deep commitment to providing exceptional dental care. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients, treating each one as if they were part of her own family. Dr. Dani stays up to date with the latest advancements in dental technology and evidence-based practices, ensuring her patients receive the highest standard of care to maintain healthy, beautiful smiles for life.

Outside of the office, Dr. Dani enjoys exploring new destinations, attending concerts, and cheering on her favorite NBA team, the Dallas Mavericks. She also loves reconnecting with her roots in Laredo and spending quality time with her family. Dr. Dani resides in Richardson with her husband Max and their two children, Maximiliano and Mía.
